Digby Wells was appointed by Aureus Mining Inc. in 2011 to develop a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and Community Development Plan (CDP) for its proposed New Liberty Gold Mine in Liberia. The Project will require the resettlement of two relatively small villages as well as their assets (dwelling and business structures, community facilities, economic trees, crops and graves). The RAP and CDP were successfully completed and approved by the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia in March 2013.
